Chemical and physical properties:
clear, colorless and odorless liquid with a slightly sweetish taste, hygroscopic, with a low volatileness. It is an excellent solvent for water-insoluble chemical compounds and drugs.

Application:
Used among others to produce unsaturated polyester resins, thermoplastic polyurethanes and plastifiers, as an additive in producing glass and cement, furniture, shoe polishes, printing inks, plaster boards, emulsifiers and anti-freezes, beauty products, lubricants, brake fluids, wallpaper removers and as an agent heating up or cooling down the fuel.

Health safety:
If swallowed, it can cause: sleepiness, alimentary tract disorders and muscle weakness. If consumed in big quantities, it can cause the degeneration of the kidneys and the liver, and death. The liquid can cause a slight irritation of the skin. High concentrations can cause a slight irritation of the air passages.
